- Erin Grisham, interim associate vice president for Student Affairs, was recently named Woman of the Year by Arizona Women in Higher Education. She also received NAU’s First-Generation Outstanding Staff Advocate Award in the spring.
- Eric Otenyo, professor of politics and international affairs, had an article titled “East African Cities Embrace CCTVs for Public Safety” published in the July issue of The African Technopolitan. He also contributed a chapter “Hacking, the Limits to the Fourth Amendment, and Challenges to Local Administration in the 21st Century” in the recently published book Privacy in the Digital Age: 21st Century Challenges to the Fourth Amendment.
- NAU’s College of Education has published a monograph titled Honoring Our Elders: Culturally Appropriate Approaches for Teaching Indigenous Students. The collection was edited by Jon Reyhner, Joseph Martin, Louise Lockard and W. Sakiestewa Gilbert and includes papers written by faculty members Christine Lemley, Angelina Castagno and Angela Willeto.
