Northern Arizona University will host Homecoming events next week, bringing traffic and parking modifications to the Flagstaff campus.
Parking lot P30 will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 and re-open Friday, Oct. 23, following the Traditions Day Carnival. View a campus parking map here.
Parking and Shuttle Services will provide temporary access to the Knoles Garage on Thursday, Oct. 22, to the first 50 employees who work in the ARD, USB and ITS buildings and own an employee parking permit. The San Francisco Parking Garage will be accessible to the first 200 R3 permit holders. Additional R3 permit parking is available in lots P31 and P16. Parking attendants will hand out garage access tickets while supplies last at lot P30 from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. and 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19 and 20. Garage access tickets also can be obtained by visiting the Parking and Shuttle Services office.
Commuters should anticipate restrictions in employee lots P29, P3, P4, P1B, P11/12, P19, P6 and P2 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, during the Homecoming parade. Lots P16, P8 and parking along Knoles Drive will be closed for the parade route, float staging and dismantling.
Visitors are encouraged to park in lot P13, P62 or the San Francisco Street Parking Garage. Roadways along the parade route will be inaccessible during the parade.
