Each year, NAU’s student organizations spend months selecting an individual on campus to whom Homecoming is dedicated. The process begins in the spring with nominations and culminates with a surprise tapping by the Chain Gang two weeks prior to Homecoming.
The dedicatee will be honored during a banquet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the High Country Conference Center. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for non-students, and may be purchased at nau.edu/cto or at the door. The dedicatee takes a prominent place in the parade, set to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 on the NAU campus.
Stay tuned for an announcement early next week to find out who will be this year’s Homecoming Dedicatee. For information on homecoming events, visit nau.edu/homecoming.
