Homecoming 2019: Weekend forecast

Homecoming week events are well underway with more festivities in store.

Friday, the weekend officially starts for students at 4 p.m. with the carnival on University Union Pedway/P11, where they can enjoy carnival rides, games and food.

Saturday is packed with events, starting with the Flannels and Flapjacks student event at 8:30 a.m. on the central quad, offering free hot pancakes to students while supplies last.

The Flagstaff community is invited to join other campus events including the annual Homecoming parade, tailgate and the NAU vs. Portland State football game. Kick-off is at 4 p.m. in the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome. Tickets for the game are required and can be purchased online.

A map of the parade route and parking can be found online. Free parking is available in the San Francisco parking garage. For easy access to the garage, enter the north end of campus on San Francisco Street. A free shuttle service will be running after the parade from the San Francisco parking garage to the Homecoming tailgate at the Skydome.
