ASNAU honors student organizations with annual High Pines Awards

ASNAU recognized a number of student organizations and student-planned events at its annual High Pines Award Ceremony. The event is sponsored by the Office of the Dean of Students.

The 2022 winners are:

  • Sports Club of the Year: NAU Men’s Lacrosse
  • Representative Club of the Year: NAU Council of Indigenous Ambassadors
  • Residence Hall Council of the Year: Sechrist Hall Community Council
  • Fraternity & Sorority of the Year: Kappa Delta Chi
  • Cultural Student Organization of the Year: Latine Student Union
  • Advocacy Student Organization of the Year: Student Health Advocacy Committee
  • Service Student Organization of the Year: Blue Key Honor Society
  • Academic Student Organization of the Year: American Society of Mechanical Engineers
  • Commitment to Justice Award: NAU Mock Trial Club
  • Spirit of Service Award: Kayettes
  • Lumberjack Image Award: Model United Nations
  • New Student Organization of the Year: PERIOD at Flagstaff
  • Student Organization Advisor of the Year: Vidal Mendoza, Hermanas, United for Change
  • Student Organization Event of the Year: Birds Aren’t Real Awareness Concert
  • Student Organization President of the Year: Kaitlin Swang, Forestry Club
