Foreign exchange programs not just for students

Faculty who are looking to spice up their teaching repertoire might consider a short-term teaching experience overseas through the University Studies Abroad Consortium.

Summer and semester programs are available in Chile, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Ghana, Italy, Mexico and Spain. Participants will teach their specialty to American students participating in the Study Abroad program. Topics vary by location but include art history, finance, education, anthropology, political science, hospitality/tourism and others.

The deadline to apply for summer ’08, fall ’08 and spring ’09 programs is Feb. 9.
