Cline Library Special Collections and Archives seeks perspectives from Flagstaff 2020 project participants

The Cline Library Special Collections and Archives (SCA) is seeking participants from the original Flagstaff 2020 project to share their perspectives in an online exhibit. Flagstaff 2020 was a community project undertaken between 1996 and 1997. The project sought to understand the changes Flagstaff community members wanted to see in their community by 2020.

The SCA is creating an online exhibit to provide a retrospective view on Flagstaff 2020, engaging today’s residents with the city’s past, present and future. Originally, the project included a wide range of input from residents and civic organizations such as the City of Flagstaff, Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce, Coconino County and Friends of Flagstaff’s Future.

Submit information about personal involvement in Flagstaff 2020 or how it impacted the community to the SCA via the online form.

Samantha Meier, archivist in SCA, is leading the project. Questions should be directed to the department by e-mailing Special.Collections@nau.edu or calling (928) 523-5551.
