When P1 closes this summer, 409 spots will be removed permanently. The parking garage on central campus, scheduled to open in the fall, will alleviate some difficulties, but other plans are in works.

Other changes include restricting residents to residence hall lots within their zone from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to reduce campus traffic, eliminating “All Commuter” permits and adding shuttle buses.
