Fieldhouse serves as Red Cross site; fire information available

The Brins fire north of Sedona has led the American Red Cross to set up in NAU’s Fieldhouse to serve as an evacuation registration and information site. The site is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. After hours, call (928) 556-3947.

As the fire continues to burn the Oak Creek Canyon area, several phone numbers have been set up to provide up-to-date information.

  • For evacuation-related concerns, call the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 774-4523.

The Coconino County Health Department has issued information to help pet owners in case of evacuation and inform the public on the health-related problems of smoke and ash.
