Scott Goetz, a Regents’ professor in the School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems, was elected a fellow of the American Geophysical Union, an honor awarded to only o.1 percent of the 160,000 members. He was honored for advancing our understanding of changes in the global terrestrial biosphere using remote sensing observations.
