- Department of Sociology associate professor Katsuya Oi received Penn State University’s 2025 Roy C. Buck Award in the College of Liberal Arts for exceptional work published in the previous year. Oi also co-authored the article “Should we all go to college? Revisiting educational benefits for memory aging in a large-scale study,” recently published in Social Science & Medicine.
