NAU recognizes faculty at the Professional Achievement Ceremony

Several faculty members were recognized last week at the Northern Arizona University Professional Achievement Ceremony for excelling in their professional roles, promoting a positive sense of community in the workplace and actively supporting the mission of NAU.

College Teachers of the Year:

  • Kevin Massoletti, lecturer of global languages and cultures in the College of Arts and Letters
  • Lisa Persinger, assistant professor of educational psychology in the College of Education
  • Taylor Joyal, lecturer in the School of Earth & Science from the College of Environment, Forestry, and Natural Sciences
  • Kai Kaoni, assistant professor of practice for civil engineering, construction management and environmental engineering, in the College of Engineering, Informatics, and Applied Sciences
  • Ishan Bhatt, assistant professor of communication science and disorders in the College of Health and Human Services
  • Chrissina Burke, senior lecturer of anthology in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
  • Frances Ann Hill, associate professor in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management from The W. A. Franke College of Business
  • L. Ruth Whisler, assistant clinical professor of social work at NAU Yuma

  • Award for Liberal Studies Excellence: Meredith Heller, lecturer of women’s and gender studies in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
  • Award for Excellence in Curricular Innovation: Matt Anderson, lecturer of psychological sciences in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
