Faculty learning symposium to highlight technology

NAU faculty will engage in a conversation about successfully harnessing the power of technology to enhance teaching and student learning during Minds Online: A Faculty Learning Symposium from 1 – 4 p.m. Friday, March 6, in the Health and Learning Center, room 2405.

Michelle Miller, psychology professor, will facilitate discussions around cognitive science concepts connected to technology use. Miller recently received national recognition for her new book, Minds Online: Teaching Effectively with Technology.

In addition, NAU faculty will present how they are applying some of these concepts and techniques in their classes.

Guest speakers include Don Carter, Liz Brauer, Richard Holloway, Kevin Ketchner, Mark Molinaro and Larry Gallagher.
