Original creations by art faculty are on exhibit at the NAU Art Museum.
The 2009 School of Art Faculty Exhibition celebrates the artistic talents teaching on campus with paintings, sculptures, mixed media installations, ceramics and jewelry.
The public is welcome to an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb 12. The exhibit, sponsored by the NAU Art Museum, runs through March 28.
It features paintings by Helaine McLain, Barbara Sheeley and Chris Taylor; ceramics by Don Bendel, Jason Hess, Paula Rice and Steven Schaeffer; sculptures by James O’Hara, Brian Painter, Nancy Reynolds and Curtis Smith; printmaking by David Williams and Lynne Wright; jewelry by Joe Cornett, Milly Haeuptle and J. Star Yardley and an installation by Shawn Skabelund.
