University Advancement will launch its annual Employee Giving Campaign this month, encouraging university employees to contribute their support for NAU programs, departments and scholarships.
This year’s campaign kicks off on March 30. As part of The Campaign for NAU, the employee campaign is intended to recognize the valuable role that faculty and staff play in helping students every day, and to encourage continued philanthropic support among employees.
During the past fiscal year, nearly 900 employees gave more than $250,000 to support the cornerstones of the university experience – including scholarships, colleges, facilities, athletics and more. Last year’s total represented a 29 percent increase in giving from the previous year. This year, the campaign seeks to generate support from 1,000 employees.
To participate, employees may sign up for an ongoing payroll deduct pledge – either online or through “Annual Fund Contributions” in the Self Service area of LOUIE – or give a one-time gift to the fund of their choice. Volunteers representing the campaign also will follow up with university employees with more information.
