Six NAU students were presented with Distinguished Senior Awards last month for their outstanding accomplishments. The students were recognized as the most outstanding graduates in their colleges.
This semester’s winners are:
- Teresa Bittler, English major from the College of Arts and Letters
- Kallie Cashatt, elementary education major from the College of Education
- Francis Sterling Coburn VI, biology major from the College of Engineering,
Forestry and Natural Sciences - Nicholas Schumacher, nursing major from the College of Health and Human Sciences
- Michael Walter, electronic media major from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
- Camille Fosset, accountancy major from The W.A. Franke College of Business
Students were selected by a committee of faculty and staff within each college and then approved by the dean. The award is given out each semester by the Alumni Association.
“It’s notable to be named the most outstanding student for your college graduating class,” said Erin Bertelsen coordinator at the Office of Alumni Relations. “These students are also highly involved in the community and at NAU.”
