Vice Provost Dan Kain will serve as dean of the College of Education during the summer while he works with Provost Laura Hunneke and college leadership to find a replacement for at least the 2014-15 academic year.
Former Dean Michael Sampson resigned from NAU to accept a similar position in New York.
Kain served as dean of NAU’s College of Education prior to moving into his current position as vice provost for Academic Personnel in 2010.
