The Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) at Northern Arizona University is holding its 2018 Employee Appreciation Mixer from 1-4 p.m. March 29 in the ballroom at the DuBois Center.

The mixer is an opportunity for employees to learn what support NAU provides and what other departments at the university do, as well as offering networking and fellowshipping opportunities for staff. All classified staff members are invited.

“This is an annual event that focuses on providing recognition and appreciation for NAU’s body of classified staff,” said Scott Halle, a material safety manager and president of CSAC.

The event includes door prizes, a 50/50 raffle that benefits CSAC’s staff book scholarship fund, peer recognition awards and department display tables advertising services, benefits and opportunities for staffers. Download the Peer Recognition Nomination Form 2018.

Departments interested in having a display table can reserve their spaces online before March 16. In addition to being informative, tables will be judged on the creativity of their displays and interactive elements; attendees can vote on the most entertaining table presentation, and the winning department will get a prize.

The mixer is free of charge for classified staff members.
