NAU’s Long Range Planning Committee is seeking input on a preliminary report it has produced regarding trends in higher education.
The committee is crafting specific recommendations for the university community to consider, organized under four sections:
- Cultivate a more flexible and nimble organization that is better prepared to seek internal and external opportunities for improvement and respond to changes in the environment
- Focus on quality, academic success, and making a difference in student life
- Optimize operational structures to foster financial sustainability and organizational effectiveness
- Diversify the student body to respond to changing demographics and the need to prepare students to operate in a multicultural, global society
