Carmen Phelps, NAU’s new chief diversity officer, will be engaging with the campus community through town hall meetings beginning this month.
Faculty, staff, administrators and students are invited to discuss and document diversity-centered issues and concerns as well as campus accomplishments and advancements made in these areas to help inform the composition of NAU’s first Diversity Strategic Plan.
The student town halls kick off Monday, Sept. 12, and the employee events begin in October. The meetings, scheduled at varying times, will be held in the Grand Canyon Room of the University Union unless otherwise noted, and food will be provided.
