NAU Parking and Shuttle Services is ready for fall with a new car share program, free bus passes and parking permits available June 1.
NAU will team up with Enterprise Rent-A-Car to offer a car sharing program to faculty, staff and students. Participants must register online to receive an access card, which may take up to 14 business days. A rental vehicle will be stationed at the University Union and du Bois Center in August and available for reservation through the program website.
NAU will continue to offer free ecoPASS cards to faculty and staff that provide unlimited access to all Flagstaff Mountain Line transit routes. The passes are available at Parking Services while supplies last.
Faculty and staff may purchase parking permits online for the 2014-15 academic year beginning June 1. Rates remain unchanged from 2013-14.
Starting this fall, up to 10 vehicles can be registered to a single valid permit with only one vehicle displaying the permit parked on campus at a time.
Lighter traffic on campus during the summer means relaxed parking restrictions for various permit holders through Aug. 18. Resident permit-holders may park in any resident or commuter lot. Employee permit-holders may park in any resident, commuter or employee lot. Pay-by-space and restricted parking policies are in effect year round.
