Campus parking information for 2015-16

As the start of the academic year draws near, Parking Services is offering several reminders for faculty and staff on the Flagstaff campus.

New parking permits for the coming academic year may be ordered online beginning Aug. 1. There is no increase in cost for the second year in a row. Benefit-eligible faculty and staff can sign up for payroll deduction to have the price deducted over five or 10 pay periods or the academic year.

In an effort to improve the visitor parking experience, the blue AE employee parking signs will change to a sage green E designation. Blue signs will indicate visitor parking only.

Traffic change on Knoles Drive

Two-way traffic is now permitted on Knoles Drive on north campus between Tormey Avenue and DuPont Avenue. Metered and employee parking spaces are available on the northbound side of the road. View a campus map here.

Employees who purchase a Knoles or San Francisco garage permit will be able to park in employee lots south of University Drive by displaying a south employee validator pass, which can be picked up at the Parking and Shuttle Services office. Employees also can pick up a free ecoPASS that provides unlimited access to all Flagstaff Mountain Line transit routes.

The Northern Arizona Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority, which operates Mountain Line and Mountain Link, is offering an incentive for commuters who use the vRide vanpool program. Vans receive a free 2015-16 parking permit and come with 300 miles to use for errands and appointments. Click here for details. For questions, contact Gay Spivey at (928) 607-9466.
