A new year means a new cold and flu season.
If you are looking to fend off the upcoming fevers, chills and aches or hoping to knock out your 2026 physical, now is the perfect time to get acquainted with Campus Health Services (CHS).
CHS offers primary care to students, faculty, staff members and their dependents ages 16 and older. With additional services ranging from urgent care visits to bloodwork to nutritional consultations to psychiatric evaluations, the clinic aims to support a wide array of patients through comprehensive, personalized treatment.
Qualified providers are available both on campus at the John Haeger Health and Learning Center and virtually through telehealth options.
“By establishing your care with Campus Health Services, you gain a trusted medical home that offers high‑quality care, convenient access to services and collaborative support from a team that knows you and your long-term wellness needs,” said Julie Ryan, associate vice president of CHS.
CHS offers several payment options. Students who have paid the Health and Wellness fee may receive services through LouieCare, the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), pay out of pocket for eligible services or use accepted insurance plans. Faculty, staff and their dependents may also use accepted insurance plans. CHS is contracted with PPO plans with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare and Tricare.
Eligible patients can schedule an appointment with CHS by logging into its virtual portal. Patients can also use this link to upload their new insurance cards and ensure their medical information is up to date before their appointment.
