Northern Arizona University’s women’s basketball team has released the dates for three instructional camps they will be offering this summer. Led by coach Loree Payne, each camp offers players the opportunity to elevate their performance and game knowledge in a fun and engaging environment.
2019 NAU Women’s Basketball Summer Camp Dates
- Elite Camp
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 15, $100
- Day Camp
- 9 a.m. to noon June 17-20, $195
- Team Camp
- Hours TBD, June 21-23, $150 per camper
Elite Camp is a one-day event designed for highly motivated student-athletes who are serious about enhancing their skills and fundamentals. Filled with skill development and instruction, participants incorporate what they learn into team drills and five-on-five play.
Day Camp is designed for all skill levels. Girls ages 7-13 are invited to come and enjoy all NAU and Flagstaff have to offer while building fundamental skills on the court.
The Team Camp includes a five-game guarantee for high school teams interested in gaining valuable game experience during the summer months. Lodging and meal accommodations are up to each team.
A certified athletic trainer will be on hand throughout the entirety of each of the three camps. Any medical concerns regarding a camper are to be addressed to the trainer at check-in.
