The Lumberjacks football and soccer teams are marking Breast Cancer Awareness month with giveaways, a FanFest and special football ticket pricing for three upcoming games.
The first 200 people arriving at Friday’s 7 p.m. soccer game against Idaho State will receive a pink NAU water bottle in honor of breast cancer awareness. All fans are encouraged to wear pink. Also, as part of NAU’s “No Impact Week!” fans are asked to celebrate “Bling Your Bottle Night” by bringing their own reusable water bottles so they can “bling” them at the main entrance to Lumberjack Stadium.
The Lumberjack Fan Fest also opens Saturday in the Pine Ridge parking lot on the south side of campus with inflatable games, giveaways, live music and more. It is open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and is free to all fans.
On Saturday, the first 1,000 fans who show up for the 3 p.m. football game against Eastern Washington will receive a pink NAU water bottle. And look for a free game program coupon in a special insert in Friday’s Arizona Daily Sun.
NAU Athletics has introduced a Touchdown Family Four Pack ticket plan for Saturday’s football game and two additional upcoming games. The package includes four reserved seats for $40 with additional tickets available for $10 each. Four Pack tickets also will be made available for Northern Colorado on Nov. 5 and and Southern Utah on Nov. 19.
Fans may purchase tickets by calling (928) 523-5661 or visiting the Skydome Ticket Office starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
