ABOR approves NAU’s TRIF plan

The Arizona Board of Regents recently approved Northern Arizona University’s five-year business plan for TRIF funds, which is revenue generated to the three state universities by a sales tax increase approved by voters in 2000 to support education.

But the green light comes with a demand for greater return on investment, despite a smaller pool of funding that has resulted from fluctuations in sales tax revenues.
