Another e-mail scam: Don’t give out your password

Another fraudulent e-mail is being circulated throughout NAU, and ITS is reminding individuals to keep their passwords secret.

The fraudulent e-mails ask individuals to provide user ID and password for a system update.

Fred Estrella, chief information technology officer, explained that some NAU staff members have supplied the information, and their e-mail accounts have been taken over by spammers.

Estrella reminded campus that no one should share passwords, and ITS will never ask for that information.
