The Wall Aquatic Center has scheduled its spring youth swim lessons, as well as CPR and Lifeguard classes.
Youth Swimming Lessons
Registration begins on March 3 for the center’s Learn-to-Swim program, offered for youth age 3-14. Classes are designed for independent children who are comfortable in the water without a parental presence.
Session 1: March 24 – April 9
Session 2: April 14 – 30
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
This course teaches professional rescuers the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies; including the use of an automated external defibrillator, adult/child/infant CPR, rescue breathing, obstructed airway management, two-rescuer CPR, use of resuscitation masks and bag-valve mask resuscitators. Class dates: March 1 and April 12.Adult CPR/AED
This course teaches how to recognize and respond to adult cardiac and breathing emergencies and how to use an automated external defibrillator. Class dates: April 16
