Each year, the Northern Arizona University Environmental Caucus awards the outstanding efforts of students, faculty, staff and community members for their work on green initiatives. NAU’s sustainability initiative, Green NAU, strives to have a positive impact on the environment in and around Flagstaff and recognizes those who make a difference.
Nominees should be involved in eco-friendly projects or taking significant actions to positively impact the environment on campus or in the greater Flagstaff area. Online nominations are open through March 23 for the following categories:
– NAU Undergraduate student (includes cash prize)
– NAU Graduate student (includes cash prize)
– NAU Faculty
– NAU Staff
– NAU Leadership Award
– NAU Project/Organization
– Flagstaff Community Project/Organization
There will be a dinner on April 19 at the Native American Cultural Center to recognize and honor the nominees and winners. President Rita Cheng will make the opening remarks.
