The manager of Northern Arizona University’s Parking Services has announced he is leaving NAU after nearly 18 years.
Bobby Sedillo, who joined NAU in 1989 in the purchasing department, will become director of Purchasing and Auxiliary Service at Coconino Community College, beginning Oct. 30. His last day at NAU is Oct. 27.
Darby Garcia, program coordinator in Parking Services, has been named interim manager while the university conducts a search for a permanent replacement.
Sedillo has managed NAU Parking Services since 2002.
“I’ve really enjoyed working here, it’s been a big part of my life,” Sedillo said. “I’ve had an opportunity to work with students, faculty, staff and the community during a time of change and growth. It’s been very challenging, but also very fun.”
“We are grateful to have had Bobby’s long-term commitment to the university,” said Kathe Shinham, vice president for Administration and Finance. “He has been a valuable mediator for the campus community, proactively working with individuals and departments to help them with their parking concerns.”
