Students are invited to meet with prospective employers and graduate school representatives from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Fall Career Day and Graduate School Fair in the University Union Fieldhouse.
Faculty and staff are also invited to a pre-fair mixer in the Fieldhouse from 8:30 to 10 a.m. to network with prospective employers.
“This is an opportunity to strengthen our connections with the employers and graduate schools who recruit our students,” said Sriyanthie McCabe, an advisor in the Gateway Student Success Center, adding that faculty and staff can learn first-hand what employers are looking for and share that feedback with their students. “Faculty and staff can also use this time to showcase what their students are learning in the classroom and the level of hands-on training NAU provides.”
More than 130 employers and schools are expected to attend, offering information about full-time and summer employment and internship opportunities. Current and soon-to-be alumni can also research graduate school opportunities and career trends. Students should come “dressed to impress” and bring a resume.
