- Rebecca Cole, associate professor of educational psychology, and Margot Saltonstall, assessment coordinator for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, along with Paul Gore, director of Career Transitions Research at ACT, Inc., will have their article titled, “Assessing student readiness to promote student success: A campus collaboration,” published as a chapter in the book, Exploring the evidence: Campus-wide initiatives in the first college year. The book is due out in 2007.
- Daniel Laughlin, research specialist with NAU’s Ecological Restoration Institute and doctoral student in forest science, received the Ecological Society of America’s Braun Award for the best poster at the society’s national meeting in Nashville, Tenn., earlier this month.
