Rene F. Pack will stand tall on the platform when she delivers her commencement address at NAU-Yuma on Friday.
Pack, who is graduating with a bachelor of applied science degree in computer information systems, is the first member of her family to earn a bachelor’s degree and will be NAU’s featured student speaker.
NAU’s commencement ceremony begins at 8 p.m. May 19 at Arizona Western College.
Pack, a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the Golden Key Honor Society, and participant in the All Arizona Academic Team, is one of more than 200 undergraduates, 98 master’s candidates and one doctoral candidate who will receive their diplomas.
Liz Grobsmith, NAU provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, will confer the degrees. Fred Boice will represent the Arizona Board of Regents.
