Get healthy while avoiding high gas prices and bike to NAU during Flagstaff’s fifth annual Bike to Work Week, May 14 to 19.
Bike to Work Day is Wednesday, May 17, when free breakfast will be provided to riders on key routes, including Beaver Street, Knoles Drive and McConnell Drive.
“This is a great opportunity to experience the benefits of cycling to campus,” said Geoff Cross with the Flagstaff Biking Organization. “It is easy and enjoyable to participate.”
Cross said 13 NAU departments are signed up to participate in the Flagstaff’s Biking’s Worksite Challenge. In order to be eligible for daily prizes, you need to register your participationonline.
NAU’s Gateway Success Center won last year’s Worksite Challenge for the large site category and won a commuter bike for the Gateway office.
