Families and friends will flock to Flagstaff this weekend for fun, food and learning in the spirit of the college lifestyle.
Kicking off the university’s annual Family Weekend, the women’s soccer team defends its back-to-back Big Sky titles at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, at Lumberjack Stadium. The rest of the event-packed weekend includes free use of recreation facilities, tours, presentations, specials at the NAU Bookstore, food, entertainment and athletic events.
Among the many activities scheduled Oct. 15-17 are:
- a celebration of academic achievement
- Saturday football game and barbecue
- Casino Nite and dinner
- Three showings of NAU Theater’s The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
- Sunday morning brunch followed by a second round of women’s soccer
