The power of giving can sustain an institution, but nothing lifts its people like the power of participation.
Donations infuse Northern Arizona University with opportunity and potential. They support deserving students, award exceptional faculty and preserve—and sometimes create—outstanding programs.
We welcome them all, large and small, and celebrate when an especially generous gift transforms our ability to fulfill the university’s mission.
Yet here, within the university community, lies some of the most meaningful potential of all. Not just to offer our time and effort, but to support our mutual commitment to higher education financially.
Last year, more than 800 faculty and staff did just that through the Employee Giving Campaign. NAU is grateful for their unselfish dedication and for the example they have set for all of us.
This year, the goal is for more than 1,000 to commit their support, pushing employee participation to 40 percent. The amount of each gift is much less important than the act of giving. And that’s the key point: to be a part of something.
Even the most modest of gifts achieves that status. It makes you part of the university at a deeper level, vested not only financially but in spirit and intention.
As the campaign kicks off this week, you can join hundreds of your peers in supporting NAU. Take a moment to carefully consider the impact of participating—not only on the university, but on yourself.
You already give to NAU in important ways. Now it’s time to take the next step.
