It’s that time of year again!
The Office of the President is looking for phenomenal NAU service professionals and classified staff members to recognize with President’s Achievement Awards, an annual honor given to employees displaying exceptional job performance, a deftness at cultivating interpersonal relationships, dedication to workplace community and loyalty to NAU’s mission and values.
Any university employee may nominate a candidate using the online form on the Office of the President’s website by March 17. To be eligible, nominees must be in a full or part-time position at NAU for at least three years and must have at least three years of performance appraisals.
Nomination forms, complete with two additional reference surveys, will be reviewed by the deans, directors and heads of their correlating departments before being sent to a screening committee composed of former winners and representatives from the Office of the President, Human Resources and the Staff Advisory Council.
President José Luis Cruz Rivera will then review the chosen applications and select the official winners, awarding them each a $2,000 before-tax prize and recognizing their accomplishments at a ceremony in April alongside those earning 2025 Research and Creative Activity Awards and Faculty and Academic Professionals Awards,
