Registration for Northern Arizona University’s 10th annual Undergraduate Symposium opens on Feb. 1. This celebration of student achievement will feature more than 1,000 students from all colleges showcasing exhibits and presenting research to peers, professors and the Flagstaff community.
The symposium will highlight the diversity of students’ experiences with more than 500 posters and 240 presentations from painting exhibitions and service learning projects to more traditional research.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to inform students about this opportunity.
“Not many undergraduates get the chance to participate in such a prestigious event,” said Tina Zecher, senior program coordinator for the Office of Undergraduate Research & Scholarship. “It demonstrates a commitment to their field of study that reflects positively on the student’s ability to think critically about current ideas and issues.”
The 2018 Undergraduate Symposium will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Apr. 27 in the J. Lawrence Walkup SkyDome. All events are free and open to the public. For more information and to apply visit the Undergraduate Symposium website.
