On March 9, Allyson Hamacher, Kaylee Herrero and Priscilla Coronado from the Northern Arizona University Physician Assistant program won the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants (ASAPA) Student Challenge Bowl. They beat teams from all three Arizona programs and the tri-program faculty team to take home first place. NAU also dominated the ASAPA poster presentation acceptances and awards. More than 30 posters were submitted to ASAPA for consideration and 16 posters selected for presentation, 15 of which were from NAU. NAU took home the top three prizes, with Rachel Cushman receiving first place and honorable mentions for Elicia Hunt and Emily Sepper.
