- Senior Alina Staffeldt and junior Christina Torrente swept the WAC Swimmer and Diver of the Week awards on Tuesday. The wins were Staffeldt’s first Swimmer of the Week award and Torrente’s second Diver of the Week award for the season. Both awards were the third career wins for the athletes.
- More than 20 business and engineering students make up a Collegiate Wind Competition team that qualified for the competition in Chicago in May. The students from Management 435 joined with 18 engineering students to develop a research-supported business model for a marketable wind turbine. At the competition they will design, build and test a wind turbine, conduct market research, develop a business plan and site a wind farm. NAU is one of 12 teams selected.
