With many NAU students, faculty and staff off campus during the week of spring break, various campus functions will operate with different procedures or with changes to the schedule.
Flex parking for permit holders
During spring break, additional parking options are available for permit holders.
The parking garage permit holders may continue to park in their designated parking garage, in addition to any employee, residential or commuter lot.
Employee (E) permit holders may park in any employee, commuter or residential lot.
Commuter permit holders may park in any commuter lot, south or north campus.
Residential permit holders may park in any residential lot or commuter lot.
No NAU News
In lieu of spring break, NAU News will not be publishing an issue next week. Please continue to email news submissions to Inside@nau.edu, and NAU News’ weekly newsletter will resume the week of March 20.
Changes to schedules
Several campus facilities will be on different schedules during spring break.
The campus recreation center will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and will be closed March 11-12 and March 18. It will be open from 5-9 p.m. on March 19 with no fitness classes.
The Cline Library will be closed March 11-12, open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 13-17, open noon to 5 p.m. March 18 and noon to 2 a.m. March 19, with limited hours for special collections and the tech desk. Writing Commons will close Friday, March 10, and reopen March 20.
The University Union will be open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the week, closed March 11-12, and March 18, and open for normal hours on March 19.
The duBois Center will be closed March 11-12 and March 18 and open regular hours on March 19.
