Looking for a way to do some good and get more involved in the community?
Flagstaff residents and the Northern Arizona University community are invited to join the Service Professional Advisory Council’s (SPAC) service project on Saturday, April 8. Beginning at 10 a. m. SPAC will lead the cleanup efforts on its adopted trail near the NAU Walkup Skydome.
Anyone interested in attending should meet at parking lot P65, located on the east side of San Francisco Avenue across from the Skydome parking lot. Patricipants are welcome to bring friends, family, children and leashed dogs. Trash bags, safety vests, plastic gloves and picker-uppers will be provided on site. Participants are encouraged to bring garden gloves and water.
The cleanup should take no more than an hour and provides an excuse to get outside and meet others while preserving Flagstaff’s great outdoors.
