Faculty, staff, students, alumni and family are invited to to represent NAU in the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce’s annual Independence Day Parade at 9 a.m. Monday, July 4, in downtown Flagstaff.
This year’s theme, “Red, White & True Blue NAU,” will be appear on T-shirts, vehicles and banners. Typically, more than 10,000 spectators line the streets of downtown Flagstaff to watch the parade.
“This is an extra fun event to come on out and join in the festivities,” said Molly Munger, director of Community Relations.
T-shirts displaying Louie the Lumberjack with the American flag on the front and “Red,White & True Blue NAU” on the back can be ordered for $6.
