For the third consecutive year, NAU Athletics has received the Big Sky Men’s All-Sports Trophy.
The men’s teams recorded 59 points to capture the victory this year. Indoor and outdoor track and field secured two first-place titles and cross country, tennis and football all had top four finishes.
Points are calculated using the regular-season standings of men’s basketball, women’s basketball, soccer, football, softball, tennis and volleyball teams. The points also take into account the cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field and women’s golf finishes in the Big Sky Championships.
With multiple championships and top three finishes, the women’s teams earned second place for the second consecutive year.
The combined total for both programs will be used to determine the 2015-16 Presidents’ Cup, which will be announced in July.
