- W. Dale Hoskins, a professor in the School of Communication, will be honored with the Jack Clifford Excellence in Broadcast Education award from the Arizona Broadcasters Association during its 20th Anniversary Hall of Fame luncheon at the InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley on Oct. 29. Hoskins is receiving the award for his positive contributions to the broadcasting industry through education.
- Ken Lorek, the Ralph M. Bilby Professor of Business Administration, had an article, “Time Series Versus Cross-sectionally Derived Predictions of Future Cash Flows,” accepted for publication in the Advances in Accounting journal.
