NAU President John Haeger will discuss how the university’s enterprise approach to higher education responds quickly to a changing market when he is a guest on the PBS Horizon program Dec. 20.
The show will air at 7 p.m. on KAET, Channel 8.
Haeger is expected to talk about NAU’s responsiveness to the growth and needs of the state, including the university’s expansion of Distance Learning and online programs to make higher education more accessible and affordable, new partnerships and programs that meet Arizona’s workforce demands in such areas as the health professions, and the momentum the university has generated in advancing student-centered learning.
