Northern Arizona University President John Haeger joined more than 150 other university presidents and chancellors in signing a letter to President Barack Obama and Congress on the issue of long-term deficit reduction.
The letter, delivered under the auspices of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities and the Association of American Universities, asks for a bipartisan agreement that avoids the budget cuts scheduled to take place if no agreement is reached.
