With a sponsorship gift from Alliance Bank of Arizona, the Center for Business Outreach at Northern Arizona University has a new name, but its mission to serve businesses and other organizations throughout the region remains the same.

The Alliance Bank Business Outreach Center, in The W.A. Franke College of Business, will continue to provide business-related training, education, consulting and information resources throughout northern Arizona.

The center also conducts an annual economic outlook conference, which this year will be held Nov. 8 and feature Robert Sarver, chairman and CEO of Alliance Bank’s parent company, Western Alliance Bancorporation.

“We’re grateful that Alliance Bank recognizes and supports the important role filled by the business outreach center,” said Craig Van Slyke, dean of The W.A. Franke College of Business. “The center has continued to expand its services over the years and is a valuable resource for the state.”

Programs in the center serve more than 10,000 Arizona residents each year and bring in more than $5 million in gross revenues.
