The latest addition to the University Union expansion opens next week, featuring a delectable menu of traditional and creative pizzas and flavorful flatbread sandwiches.
The Wedge Pizza and Market, located south of Starbucks in the new wing of the Union, will open Monday with an offering of 10 pies, ranging from Simply Cheese to Buffalo Chicken. Any pizza can be made gluten-free.
Five flatbread sandwiches will tempt your tastebuds, from the gorgonzola mayonnaise that rounds out the Cobb Club to the extra kick on the Italian, courtesy of green chili.
The market expands its offering of convenience store items in an updated setting that includes snacks, soft drinks and household goods.
Walk-in hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The Wedge will continue pizza service through a take-out window from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. nightly.
