It’s tax season, so watch your inbox and watch your back.

Scams may arrive as phishing emails from people who work very hard to convince you of their authenticity. Fortunately, the NAU Human Resource Payroll Office is working even harder to ensure that you may safely retrieve the documents you need.

All email communication notifying employees that their tax forms are available will come from PaperlessEmployee.com. Do not respond to any other email appearing to be delivering your W-2 or tax forms.

You can also access the Paperless Employee site directly through the HR web site. Year-end tax forms are not available through LOUIE self-service at this time.

The Internal Revenue Service has compiled a list of the “Dirty Dozen” tax scams. NAU has also offered tips for how to avoid falling prey to a phishing scam.
